The award-winning Aboriginal Management
Mentoring Program at Family and Community Services NSW is one of the featured case studies in a new book: Developing Successful Diversity Mentoring Programs: An
International Casebook by Clutterbuck, Poulson and Kochan.
I am proud to be a contributor to the book and a big thank you to FACS for allowing their story to be told.
The book is important because it shares a wide variety of examples from around the world.
This allows us to lift the quality and effectiveness of mentoring programs by increasing our ability to properly:
- Plan mentoring to add value to organisations and individuals;
- Prepare people for their mentoring roles with information, education and training; and
- Ensure the program is supported and evaluated.
